The clubhouse features a large formal dining room for private parties and events, as well as a second dining room, which can be used for general service or can be closed off for private functions and business meetings. Additionally, a separate lounge serves food and drink. The new clubhouse house will now be able to host parties of up to 170 people, a significant increase from the old facilities. Outside terrace seating with full dining service is also featured in the upper level. The lower level holds the pro shop, changing rooms and fitness room. The snack bar is also located here and will serve both the golf and swim/tennis membership. Unlike the old facilities, the pool changing rooms and showers are now located inside the clubhouse itself. Like the upper level, the lower level also includes terrace seating. The new pool is a 6-lane, competition-length design with an offset shallow area and an offset diving well with two boards. Unanimous opinion is that the pool is fantastic. The enclosed baby pool adjacent to the main pool remains. Ann Arbor Country Club is home to the championship Dolphin Swim and Dive Team that competes in a thriving area youth league. They are all excited at the prospect of swimming in the new pool, being able to finally use block starts again and to have open access to the diving boards, thanks to the deeper diving well. Updates and improvements to the golf course and tennis courts are also planned in the next few years.
