Roads Committee

The Roads Committee is responsible for maintaining Loch Alpine’s largest single asset, approximately 10 miles of paved roads. It oversees a variety of day-to-day maintenance tasks, everything from crack sealing and curb repairs to center striping and post replacement. It also handles the winter snow removal contract and is currently in the process of developing a comprehensive, long-term, road maintenance and replacement program utilizing professional engineering advice. As part of a broader effort by the Loch Alpine Improvement Association to more efficiently use residents’ dues, the Roads Committee is expanding the use of competitive bidding for all of these maintenance and planning tasks. If you are interested in serving on the Roads Committee, or are aware of road maintenance issues that need to be addressed, please call the Roads Committee Chair, John Woodroofe, at 424-2844 or E-mail him at jhfw@umich.edu
