The remnants of last year's large swan brood finally departed these parts when the Easter bunny arrived and the new arrivals broke out of their shells around Mother's Day.
Cleotoo laid five eggs and four of them became cygnets and now, four months later, two survive. If we don't have another El Nino winter, I expect these two will follow the usual pattern and take off on their own in mid-winter.
