Loch Alpine Sanitary Authority (LASA)

The Loch Alpine Sanitary Authority (LASA) of Scio and Webster Townships is a public utility that provides water and sanitary sewer service to residents of Loch Alpine, Glen Devon, and North Delhi Hills.  The Board of Directors includes officers and appointees of both townships and a representative appointed by the Loch Alpine Improvement Association.

Three underground wells serve as the source of water in our system. As a result, there is little need to chemically treat the water.  Furthermore, the water is tested monthly by state certified laboratories.

Sewage is treated in a plant (located at the southern section of the community) prior to discharge into the Huron River.

LASA Board of Directors Meetings

Meetings are held quarterly at 7:00 PM at either the Webster Township Hall or the Scio Township Hall. Agenda items can be given to the Chairman (Neil Gerl) prior to the meeting.  Meeting dates and times are posted in The Dexter Leader.
