Dave Navarre Appointed LAIA Representative on LASA Board
Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 9:58PM After careful deliberation, the Board of Directors has asked resident Dave Navarre to serve as the LAIA Representative on the LASA Board. Dave already has a general familiarity with some of the issues LASA faces, and he has accepted and looks forward to helping LASA manage the challenges and opportunities it faces. A long-time resident of the neighborhood, Dave brings both common sense and relevant work experience to this position. He is an engineer with Tetra Tech, and has helped design sewage and water systems in the past. The LAIA Board believes that this experience would also benefit LASA's Operating Committee, and hopes that Mr. Navarre will have the opportunity to contribute at that level as well.
The LAIA Board and community are deeply appreciative of the many years of service Neil Gerl gave to the neighborhood as its previous representative to LASA for many, many years. His knowledge and dedication in the interest of quality water and sanitation services for Loch Alpine and other LASA customers was exemplary. The Board of LAIA will continue to welcome his insights and recommendations about LASA operations and services. Thank you, Neil, for your tremendous contributions over the years.
