LAIA Annual Meeting Results

The LAIA Annual Meeting brought out a near-capacity crowd at the Webster Township Hall Wednesday night.  President Gregg Heidebrink reviewed the Association’s activities and expenditures over the past year, and summarized plans and expectations for the coming one.  Residents voiced comments on a variety of Loch Alpine issues, in particular on the ever-popular topic of winter road maintenance.  Karen Stevens, President of the Ann Arbor Country Club, spoke about the club’s financial issues and plans for the upcoming year, and thanked the community for its support.  Among other points, she emphasized that the clubhouse restaurant is open to the public and encouraged Loch Alpine residents to take advantage of the facility.

Residents approved the proposed assessment of $515 and elected John Reidel, Sandra Bitoni Stewart, Jeff Miller, and Joanne McGinnis to the Loch Alpine Board.  Board officers will be elected by the Board at their first meeting.  The 2010 Sendra Award was presented to former Board President Tom Holland.  Winners of the lottery drawing for a credit of $260 applied towards the annual assessment were: Cathy Stabler (lot 906) and Mary Ann Stevenson (lot 249).

The Board would like to thank the community for its vote of confidence.
