Huron River Drive Repaving - Good News and Bad News

The Washtenaw County Road Commission has received federal funds to repave Huron River Drive from Tubbs to Zeeb Roads, and from Wagner to North Maple Roads. The repaving is scheduled for this August. Unfortunately, the section between Tubbs and Wagner Roads was deemed to be in too poor condition for simple repaving and therefore ineligible for these particular federal funds.
A group of citizens with the Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society are organizing fund-raising to complete the paving between Tubbs and Wagner Roads. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has found ways/sources to DOUBLE match donations.
