In the past few days, a couple of residents have alerted the Safety & Security Committee of ID theft occurring, and local police confirm that others in our neighborhood have been targeted. In this version, thieves remove pre-approved credit card solicitations from mailboxes, complete the applications in the name of the addressee, sign up for delivery notification from the post office, and swing by to pick up the cards from the mailboxes once they are notified the credit cards were delivered.
